- 01
Put the brief on one page
Bring together the shape, measurements, yarn, colourways, artwork, quantities and destination. Mark what is fixed and what needs advice.
- 02
Review yarn and feasibility
Confirm the material specification, shade route, knit, logo method and sample terms. Any change to the brief should be visible in the revision.
- 03
Review the sample
Check the beanie relaxed and worn, including cuff height, colour relationships, artwork, reverse side and finishing.
- 04
Approve the production basis
Record the approved sample revision, final quantities and written commercial terms before agreeing the production schedule.
- 05
Plan inspection and dispatch
Agree the checks, packaging, destination and shipping responsibilities. Tie any delivery target to the relevant production and transit milestones.
What determines the schedule?
| Stage | Dependencies |
|---|---|
| Yarn and colour | Available shade versus new colour development, material supply and minimums |
| Sampling | Complete artwork, construction review and revision requirements |
| Bulk production | Approved sample, final quantity, yarn readiness and the actual production schedule |
| Dispatch | Inspection, packaging, destination and agreed transport method |
One approval record
Keep the sample photographs, measurement sheet and artwork revision in the same project record. If a detail changes after approval, identify the new revision rather than relying on a conversation fragment.
We do not publish a universal sample or bulk lead time for every yarn and design. Our team can discuss a realistic schedule once the brief and current production conditions are known.
